Winner 2017
With that many submissions from Germany and overseas the ZVSHK Product Award 2017 was a massive success. It proved how big the market potential and innovative niche for attractive and aesthetically pleasing sanitary ware actually is. Four award-winners from various product categories were selected out of the 19 nominations:
From bathroom fittings and elements that are characterized by high-quality design, to bathroom fittings and mounting systems, which have a particularly high user-orientation and usability.
The winners of the ZVSHK Award "Bath Comfort for Generations" were honored and presented at the ISH in Frankfurt. Here is an overview with the nominations and winners, impressions of the award ceremony and information about the awarded products.
Floor covering GriP AntiRutsch
This product makes it particularly easy to create a nonslip and safe bathroom. It is an exciting approach for the handicraft of bathroom design and subsequent optimization. The two-component coating is easy to clean, can be removed without residue and meets the requirements of commercial use.
Height-adjustable modules Hewi S 50
The thoroughly designed system enables height adjustment of washstands and toilet pans equally – an advantage for users of various generations and body heights. It blends in well with the overall bathroom design and doesn´t put the functionality of height adjustment in the foreground. Another value added is the integration of an illuminated mirror with different colour temperatures.
Shower control Hansgrohe RainSelect
This product shows the possibility to realise big contorls and a clearly visible and comprehensible graphic without neglecting the appeal and brand essence of it. The keys are particularly easy to use, aligned horizontally and therefore within easy reach. The control concept takes up the design of the better known light switch and differentiates clearly between thermal regulation and control of the flow.
Washlet GROHE Sensia Arena
With great design and simple utilisation this product makes ist way into more and more bathrooms. The design approach doesn`t place too much emphasis on the functunality and can be integrated in contemporary bathroom design smoothly. The value added is conveyed especially through the different means of operation: at the washlet, with a remote control or with the app for programming.
