The nominations for the ZVSHK Award are evaluated by a top-class jury of internationally recognised experts and designers. The guiding principle of Design for All plays an important role: solutions that are attractive and comfortable for all generations attractive and comfortable for all generations and which can provide support in old age or in the event of a disability. To this end, the expert jury is advised by the Design for All – Germany (EDAD) competence network.
Professor at the Offenbach University of Art and Design, specializing on technology-orientated design. Furthermore he lectures at various international universities in Europe and Asia (e.g. the NTUT National Taipei University of Technology).
With »grauwert – Office for inclusion und demography-safe solutions« the engineer and product designer supports companies with the product development focusing on an accessibility in the sense of Design for All. He is chairman of the competency network »Design for All – Germany e.V.« (EDAD).
The jury discusses and assesses the nominated products particularly under these aspects. There is no prioritisation within the order of the criteria mentioned below.
