At the world's leading trade fair ISH, the German Sanitation, Heating and Air Conditioning Association (ZVSHK) awarded the winners of its "Bathroom Comfort for Generations" product competition. Shortly beforehand, a jury of six experts - including the former mayor of Bremen, Henning Scherf - had selected five prize-worthy entries from the 28 nominated products.
For the sixth time since 2013, the award was presented at the ISH. Winners, jury members and representatives of the Central Association met on Wednesday at the Central Association's stand. There, jury chairman Mathias Knigge (Chairman of EDAD - Design für Alle) presented the award, which was artistically designed to reflect the association's logo, to the representatives of the five winners.
„Under the brand Bathroom Comfort for Generations, we will not only continue the award in the future, but also lead other future projects, such as care or smart bathrooms. Furthermore, we will intensify our exchange of ideas on this with industry and research," Michael Hilpert, President of the ZVSHK, explains the further plans of the Central Association for the Design Award. "It is also certain that we will enter the sixth edition with the competition in 2023.“
