Bathrooms are a key factor in ensuring that people can continue to live independently at home in old age. By 2030, it is estimated there will be a need for some 3 million barrier-free dwellings. The demand for attractive products and solutions for the bathroom that are functional, flexible, safe and comfortable to use for all generations is therefore set to increase considerably. Products must be able to adapt to changing life situations and meet demanding design criteria. How can the components within the bathroom most effectively combine function and design? The third ZVSHK Product Award offers answers to these questions and is an excellent vehicle for manufacturers to demonstrate their innovative bathroom design solutions.
